How can I make a reservation?
Egyéni asztalfoglalást kizárólag online fogadunk, ami az ’asztalfoglalás’ gombra kattintva érhető el a honlapunkon. Kérjük vegye figyelembe, hogy foglalási rendszerünkben asztal 3 hónapra foglalható előre. Ha 90 napnál későbbi időpontra szeretne asztalt foglalni, kérjük keresse kollégáinkat a gourmet@platantata.hu e-mail címen. Amennyiben 5 fő vagy annál nagyobb társaságnak szeretne asztalt foglalni, kérjük érdeklődjön a restaurant@platangourmet.hu e-mail címen.
Cancellation Policy
Credit card details are required to secure your reservation but it would only be charged in case of late cancellation, modification, or no-show. The booking can be canceled or modified up to 48 hours before the scheduled time if the Restaurant is notified in writing at gourmet@platantata.hu. If a booking is not honoured in whole or part, which includes reducing numbers, or is canceled with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 40.000 Ft per person will be charged to the provided card.
Is it possible to have dinner without a reservation?
Please kindly note that our restaurant is by reservation only. The online reservation system closes at noon every day for the next day.
What menu options are available?
Our restaurant does not offer an à la carte menu; however, guests may choose between a 10-course and a 6-course tasting menu at the time of reservation. Please kindly note that each table can only select one type of menu, and it is not possible to alter the chosen menu upon arrival.
Can you accomodate allergies / intolerances?
We can usually cater for most health or allergy-related dietary requests with prior notice and do our best to adapt the menu accordingly. However, we would like to inform you that we are unable to offer a vegan as well as dairy-free menu. If you have any allergies or intolerances, please kindly let us know at the time of the booking as we are unable to alter the menu upon arrival.
What menu options are available?
Éttermünk a la carte étlappal nem rendelkezik, viszont foglaláskor egy 10 és egy 6 fogásos menü közül tudnak választani. Kérjük vegye figyelembe, hogy egy asztaltársaság csak egyféle menüt tud választani, illetve érkezés után a kiválasztott menün már nem tudunk változtatni.
Do you have accomodation?
The Platán Gourmet restaurant is located in Tata, just a short 45-minute drive from Budapest. However, we fully understand the needs of our esteemed guests who wish to enhance their dining experience with wine pairing. For them, we can offer accommodation in the Michelin Key-awarded Platán Manor House, located right above the restaurant, subject to prior arrangement. Shuttle / Limousine service
Our transfer and limousine services are also available for our esteemed guests who do not wish to spend the night with us but would like to enhance their dining experience with wine pairing or other alcoholic beverages. Please indicate your request for this service when making your reservation, and our colleague will contact you. Can I buy a Gift Voucher?
Of course, it is possible to purchase a gift voucher at our restaurant, should you wish to surprise someone with an unforgettable experience. Shortly after your purchase, our colleagues will be in contact with you, and the voucher will be sent to the email address you provided.
Is there any Dress code?
We do not have a dress code policy as we would like our guests to be able to express their style. However, we suggest smart casual attire. We do not have a dress code, as we want our guests to express their individual style. However, we recommend elegant casual attire.
Visiting with children
At Platán Gourmet Restaurant, we warmly welcome our younger guests to participate in our tasting menu, as we unfortunately do not offer a children's menu. Please kindly note that our restaurant cannot accommodate small children and infants.
Visiting with pets
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs or other small animals in our restaurant.
Is the restaurant accessible for wheelchair users?
Unfortunately, due to the design of the restaurant, we are unable to accommodate wheelchair users. However, the Platán Bistro, located next door, is fully accessible and it offers a great dining experience in a more relaxed setting.
Where can I park?
We have a car park available right next to the restaurant for your convenience. However, parking is free throughout the entire town of Tata.
Is it possible to host private events or accommodate larger groups?
The Platán Gourmet Restaurant offers the ultimate fine dining experience for you and your guests. It is the perfect venue for any occasion, including corporate dinners and family celebrations.Our private dining room, called the Blue Saloon, is beautifully decorated and can accommodate up to 8 people around one large table. However, the Platán Gourmet Restaurant is also available for exclusive use for larger parties. You can dine from a bespoke seasonal menu created by István Pesti and his team, ensuring a dining experience like no other.
